Your Role

As a Senior Clojure(Script) Developer at Staffer, you will:

• Build and maintain front-end components using ClojureScript (Reagent/Re-frame)
• Design and develop backend services using Clojure
• Collaborate closely with product designers and use React to deliver seamless, responsive UX
• Champion best practices in functional programming, testing, and software architecture
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

What We're Looking For

• Senior-level in Clojure, with experience in and willingness to work primarily with ClojureScript for front-end development
• Experience with React/JavaScript and attention to UI/UX best practices is a strong plus
• Skilled with PostgreSQL and web application frameworks
• Ideally familiar with recruitment software or ATS platforms
• Passionate about functional programming and building elegant, maintainable systems
• Comfortable with Lisp-based languages such as Common Lisp, Scheme, or Racket
• Curious about AI/ML and interested in integrating intelligent functionality into software
• Pragmatic, collaborative, and motivated to build products that matter
